Ballard and HDF Energy CEOG Power Plant Construction in French Guiana Begun

Summary

The construction of the promising CEOG PROJECT by Hydrogène de France Energy and Ballard Power Systems has started in French Guiana. The plant is designed to provide full-time, year-round reliable green energy to over 10 000 homes in the western part of the country. The $200 million French Guiana CEOG project will combine a solar park, long-term hydrogen and short-term battery storage and fuel cells specified by HDF, based on Ballard’s ClearGen® architecture.
